#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Protesters Gather at Ojota’s Gani Fawehinmi Park

Protesters demanding an end to economic hardship and poor governance have arrived at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos. This park, along with Peace Park in Ojota, is one of the designated areas approved by the court for holding protests.

The demonstrators, who began their march from under the Ikeja bridge, reached Ojota around 11 am, chanting, “All we are saying! End Bad Governance!”

The protest is being closely monitored by security personnel, including officers from the Counterterrorism Unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

One protester, a woman, voiced the collective sentiment: “We want peace in Nigeria. We want freedom. We want good governance.” Another protester, identified as James, questioned, “When will Nigeria be better?”

The peaceful demonstration continues as the protesters make their demands heard, under the watchful eyes of the security forces ensuring order.
